Jo Hermans
Prof. Jo Hermans is Emeritus Professor of Physics at Leiden University in the Netherlands. In addition to his academic research and teaching career he is active in promoting and explaining science for the general public. He writes a books on everyday science which have been translated worldwide. He was appointed Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau by Queen Beatrix in 2010.
