  • Page 99 ought to say the Piper Alpha drilling platform was operated by the California-based 'Occidental Oil (Caledonia) Ltd' and not by BP.

    Page 201 indicates that Rum has not been issued on a daily basis (in the RN) since 1990. I think you'll find that, in fact, the daily rum issue was discontinued in 1970. In fact the 41st anniversary of the event (generally known as Black Tot Day) was 'celebrated' approx. 2 weeks ago.
